ICD2 2012 Conference – Fostering Innovation and Translational Research in Support of Public Health and Economic Growth
November 28, 2011The International Conference on Drug Development (“ICD2”), formerly known as the International Industrial Pharmacy Conference, continues its annual tradition of offering an informal forum for the exchange of ideas concerning the drug discovery and development process. The 2012 conference, which is presented by The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy, is scheduled for February 27-29, 2012 at the Barton Creek Conference Center in Austin, Texas. The 2012 conference theme is “Fostering Innovation and Translational Research in Support of Public Health and Economic Growth.” Hyman, Phelps & McNamara, P.C.’s Kurt R. Karst will present at the conference during a session titled “Legal Considerations to Establish Biosimilarity and Therapeutic Interchangeability.”
The ICD2 conference is known for bringing together national and international scientists from academia, the pharmaceutical industry, the biotechnology industry, and regulatory agencies for the opportunity to learn about and discuss new initiatives for finding a better way to develop new drugs and improve the quality of existing drug products.
