Twitter Delayed is Twitter Denied: DDMAC Social Media Guidance Delayed until 2011
December 21, 2010As our loyal blog readers know, we are great fans of social media, and follow these topics in earnest (here, here, and here). We have just learned that the long-awaited FDA guidance that was promised to come out by year-end will be delayed until the first quarter of 2011 (hat tip: Eye On FDA). While the pharmaceutical industry is clamoring for some clear guidelines (other than those that come from warning letters!), the dream will be deferred for at least a few months (at a minimum).
